PRO GUIDE Selecting the Right Brigade BM-15 5.56 NATO AR-15 Rifle

The Brigade BM-15 represents the cornerstone of modern American tactical rifles. Built around the proven 5.56 NATO chambering (which safely shoots both commercial 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington ammunition), the BM-15 offers high muzzle velocity, flat trajectory, and low recoil impulse—making it an ideal choice for range training, tactical competitions, and home defense.

Every BM-15 rifle utilizes standard Direct Impingement (DI) gas operation, ensuring lightweight balance and total interchangeability with standard MIL-SPEC AR-15 barrels, bolt carrier groups, and fire control assemblies.

Our receivers are CNC-machined in Florida from 7075-T6 forged aluminum for structural rigidity under high stress. Combined with our patented free-float U-LOK handguards, shooters can attach both M-LOK and KeyMod accessories—such as weapon lights, foregrips, and sling mounts—without requiring adapters.

All complete BM-15 rifles require transfer through a licensed FFL dealer and come protected by Brigade Manufacturing’s factory Limited Lifetime Warranty.
